I honestly do not know how to make it fast and easy.
Hence I am experienced and crafty Old Vixen, so I have something 'under my sleeve' how to study.
Set it as a habital activity:
Example: every breakfast listen 6 minutes English from BBC;
on Tuesday and Thursday I spend 10 minutes playing games and learning words;
Sunday I make a presentation etc
Mix Different Activities- you need a Variety: between reading, listening, speaking, and writing. This variety keeps things fresh and helps reinforce learning.
Use Fun Content: Watch movies, TV shows, or YouTube videos in the target language, or listen to music( very useful) and podcasts. Choose content ,themes that you genuinely enjoy.
Play Language Games: Use apps or websites with language games, like Duolingo or Quizlet,Wordwall and AI applications which can make learning feel like playing.But do not take this and that randomly- follow a certain theme.
Engage in Conversations: Practice with a language partner, join language exchange groups, or chat with native speakers. Now there is AI , even free AI.Real conversations make learning more dynamic and practical.
Set Small Goals: It has to be Acheivable and Measurable. Break down your learning into manageable tasks, like learning 5 new words a day, and celebrate your progress.
Incorporate Language into Daily Life: Change your phone's language settings, label items around your house, or write a daily journal in the target language.It can be nothing like Victorian diary... just timetable '9 need to call Judith. Sometimes in the afternoon pop into the shop for a pint of milk'
Use Flashcards: Digital flashcard apps like Anki can make vocabulary practice more interactive and less monotonous. you know there is a number of them.
Use mindmaps and listen to yourself.
Create a blog in English about something you enjoy.
Reward Yourself: After studying, reward yourself with something you enjoy—like watching a show or eating a treat. This positive reinforcement can help keep you motivated. Get help from your friends and family.
